Self-Paced Individualized Learning
Students can follow progress guidelines to independently review materials, complete mock tests, and engage in post-test practice. This option typically requires 150 to 200+ hours, depending on the individual’s foundational knowledge.
Instructor-Led Fixed-Paced Class
Participants can join instructor-led in-person or online classes to review and practice materials, receive coaching and supervision, and engage in structured mock tests. These classes are typically completed in approximately 15 sessions of three hours each, with 10-14 hours of after-class practice per session.
Build a Strong Foundation for SAT Success
Solid foundations in Math, English, and Vocabulary are crucial for effective SAT preparation. Early focus on these areas significantly boosts potential scores.
Early Vocabulary Building
A strong vocabulary is essential for developing fundamental reading and writing skills and boosting SAT scores. An early focus on vocabulary is highly recommended. Students can take a 10-minute diagnostic test to guide their preparation. Vocabulary mastery time ranges depending on test results on accuracy rate and speed. It will be given after the diagnostic test:
- Up to three months for an accuracy rate of 75% or higher and above certain speed.
- Up to six months for an accuracy rate of 50%-75% and above certain speed.
- Six to twelve months or longer for an accuracy rate below 50%.
Early Math and English Foundation Building
It is highly desirable that students master grade-level contents before preparing for the SAT test.
For those students who have at least one year before their SAT test, they can use Afficient Math to strengthen their math skills in Grade 6 to Grade 8, Algebra 1, and Geometry. They can also use Afficient English to master words up to Grade 9 and consolidate their knowledge in Reading and Writing from Grade 6 to Grade 9.
Students can request a free diagnostic test to find out their current academic levels and from which grades they need to fill learning gaps.
